Despite being a very busy and eventful day, met with an executive producer and a few celebrities, I got this photo in. Some makeup my fiance has. I would have gotten some great photos at another location but alas, no cameras permitted.

In front of a McDonald's in Jarrell, Tx. Originally, I had planned to make a small statement about the USA and fast food, but the MD's was so dark because the sun blew out the picture. Anyway, I like the result.

He sells legal recreational merchandize out of his van by the bars near my apartment. Always wanted to take a photo of him, but this camera just doesn't have the guff to do it. I posted it anyway, when I get a DSLR I'll be back to get better photos of him and his car.

A fly out of hundreds on a blooming plant. What type it is, I don't know. Closest thing I can find is a marsh fly. Anyway, I'm posting on a 56k modem for the weekend so if posts don't look right or there are no pictures, just placemark posts, you know why.

The mall in Denton has a small fair come to its parking lot every year. Since I took photos in the evening, it was hard to get a fast shutter speed so the outside of the ferris wheel is blurry.

Down the street there are a group of students painting a mural on the side of a building that includes a Subway shop. I plan on going back for the next few days to record their progress. Why did they do it? Because the building owners wanted it done I was told.

Today I went to Waco to help my cousin and her family unpack the house after moving into a new home. That and drinking. This is my lady Lisa.

Spent all day shooting bands during the NX35 music festival. This is a jib setup that was a pain in the rear to assemble and shoot with. The wind was gusty so it was hard to keep it steady and the pan control didn't work. Later in the day we got some better footage of the bands inside a theater. To the left, off frame, there is a crowd watching the bands perform.

Helped my cousin today get a puppy from some people out near Rhome, Texas. It was a good ways out there and the area we went to was mostly a mobile home community. Lots of great stuff to take pictures of, but I was rushed for time. Oh well.

The recycling center at a park close to my apartment. It's a little disturbing to see what people put in these things. I have seen TVs in the plastic dumpster and chain link fence in the steel one. Yes, I recycle.

Vanilla Italian Cream Soda in its last stage. Taken at Art 6, where I was meeting a producer about a directing job. It was Mmmm Mmmm good. Oh, and I got the job too.

I didn't realize how many batteries I'd have to go through for this project, lol. So today I was a little lazy with my photos since I haven't bought new batteries, which I am going to do as soon as I post this entry. I have also thought about doing a food blog and since it was on my mind I captured my kitchen. I promise tomorrow will have a more exciting photo.

Spent tonight watching the Oscars, eating pizza, and drinking beer. Congratulations to the winners.

Filming in the dark for a music video required a spotlight mounted on the top of the camera. As one of the producers added a soft box to the light I was able to capture this photo. It took long hours but the shoot was well worth it.

This is actually for the Fifth, but I got home later than expected. This was taken across the Interstate near where I live. The Goose actually moved its head as I took the picture, but it made it all the more interesting. I was at this area scouting for a filming location.

A week ago I got this Majesty Palm from Ikea to replace the one that died in my apartment a few months ago. Tropical plants being my favorite, it was only natural that I bring this green beauty home.

I used to hate cooking, now I love it. I found out it was best to start out with dishes that really appeal to you and not the things which seem easy. This is ginger and garlic used in a Teriyaki dish I made tonight.

Every Monday our group of friends meet at Boomer Jacks in Denton, TX. There we usually converse about movies, music, latest news, and do the crossword. We think it's important to spend time as a group and have fun. This is Jason hanging out at our favorite booth.
